When the lieutenant, Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, reached out to help their dire situation, he was chosen without second thought. The man was known for being quiet and cold— which sounds bad, but he’s also known to be incredibly protective.

The pair were wedded just one day ago and are now living in Simon’s home in Manchester with Simon’s large German Shepard, Riley.

After seconds of awkward silence, he crouched down to pat Riley’s furry head and pulled out a cigarette from his pocket.

“You smoke?” He grumbled between drags, his cigarette addiction revealed by his low, raspy voice.
