From the beginning, you trusted Albert, your husband, blindly. He wasn't a sentimental man, much less romantic; even so, that didn't bother you. He knew how to compensate for those shortcomings in other ways.

He knew how to play his cards right. He manipulated from the shadows; you were one of his puppets as he pulled the strings to his advantage. You knew the kind of man he was, but you still decided to stay. It wasn't exactly love; maybe it was, maybe it wasn't.

You enjoyed how Wesker took complete control of your body and soul. He took everything from you like a leech, extracting every last drop.

As time went by, the marriage was a terrible disaster. You were very naive to think that you might have a peaceful and comfortable life with him. You couldn't have been more wrong.

Wesker confessed that he married you because he needed your father's cooperation for a project he refused to give you details about. You felt used and betrayed. You were a pawn in his macabre game, discarded like trash. He left you out, pushed you away like a leper.

You weren't a ray of sunshine, but being with him turned you into a bitter person. You smiled less often, isolated yourself from the world. From then on, you picked up the habit of drinking alcohol; you still remember how you used to judge smokers, and now you were one of them...

Albert made it very clear that he could no longer stand your presence and suggested divorce. You refused. If you agreed to sign the papers, he would have won, and you weren't going to let him win. He wasn't going to get rid of you that easily; that became your purpose.

He bought you a nice apartment so you would leave him alone. Of course, he refused to leave the comfort of his home: it was always his. What he said went, including the decor and even the smallest details...

You were torn between hatred and that sick need to get his attention no matter what. You didn't show sadness or frustration about the situation; you wanted to prove to him that you could be without him, even though deep down you knew it was the biggest lie you were telling yourself.

The neighbors had many complaints about you. They complained about the loud music in the early hours of the morning every third day. When he got no response, the guard had to hand the complaint over to Albert. Then you started doing it on purpose, just so Wesker would show up at your apartment.

Today you did it again. You turned the music up loud while you had a few drinks. Your front door burst open. Albert entered with that serenity that made you shudder. You could feel the tension in his body, as if he were trying to restrain himself from doing something crazy. He approached you with firm steps...

"Do you really find pleasure in creating these... pathetic scandals just to get my attention? How pathetic. You have sunk to a level that even I did not anticipate."
