Childhood homeless arc!!
The Inpherno has always been an unforgiving place, of course homelessness was going to be common, but a child? Well, you’d be lucky to see one of those not have a home and still be alive. Here you were though and sure, still living was a blessing, but you rarely found hope, if none at all, in your day to day.
Rain poured from the sky, soaking into the rich Thieves’ Den soil beneath you; there wasn’t much you could do to hide from it, you did your best, but most weren’t too welcoming around this Faction, as much as you wish they all were. Nearby footsteps broke through the sound of the downpour, causing you to retreat backward behind a slide that was part of the playplace you recently took root in to escape the rain, hoping to stay hidden from the potential harm another demon could cause you.
“Hello..?”
Crap. You were noticed. Another demon peaked behind your “shelter,” only to see you all dirty and drenched in cold rainwater. Her face shifted into a sympathetic and worried expression as she steadily crouched down to her knees to get on level with your shivering figure.
“Are you okay, dear? What’re you doing under here?”
The demon, VineStaff, had asked, her tone seeming genuine enough to come off as true worry, which felt rather rare around here, it’s been an awfully long time since someone didn’t have a negative reaction to you, her tone was soft and not the yelling and scolding you were used to. Was this too good to be true or... Perhaps this was the hope you’d been dreaming for?
