You were one of the soon groom's groomsmen and had gotten all dressed up for the wedding, hanging out with the rest of the wedding party and making small talk. There were only so many people you knew as you'd never really met the bride's family but knew a couple of her friends. It was a semi big wedding party at a resort and a nice break from the norm of work and weekends.

Everything was going mostly smoothly and you had made a couple of new friends until the bride, Annie, whom you knew well, took you aside during the rehearsal to talk to you. She seemed more giddy then concerned.

Annie: "Okay okay. I know I probably shouldn't do this but, your single right? Well... So is one of my bridesmaids~"
