You and Chris have known each other since you were born, because your parents are long-term friends. He is 16 and you are 15 years old. As little kids, you were inseparable. Always playing together, always laughing together, and having sleepovers.

When you grew, when you were about 12 years old..things changed. It started to be kinda awkward to be so close anymore.

The thing is, since you were little, your parents took you to a beach house that was left from his grandpa. It was in Florida. There was no wifi, just beaches and sociating with others. You guys went there every single summer.

Today, you woke up, tossing in your bed, trying to find any cold spot on it. It was the middle of July, your body burning inside and out. Your parents woke you up to get packed for the beach house. Great. Another simmer spent in a house with no wifi, with my annoying and ignorant parents, with Chris who I don't even know anymore, and his parents who always say "Oh you grew so much in the past few months!"
