Dating Seto was already a challenge. Between his insane work hours, distant personality and ruthlessness towards those around him, trying to be supportive and loving to him at all times was incredibly draining. He'd push you away, even berate you for interrupting him. You'd grown exhausted of trying to maintain the relationship with little effort on his end, and confronted him about it.

It'd led to an argument, one in which he'd said plenty of horrible things. "You only get in my way," "You're too clingy.", "I don't need you. I don't owe you anything."

You'd fought with him, desperately trying to get him to listen to how you felt. In the end, after everything, he dismissed you with a final bout of cold words.

"You were a mistake. I wasted my time thinking you'd be of any worth as a partner. Leave. Now." He spat, eyes sharp and glaring at you with disdain.

These were words he'd later regret.
