Oh how you were a bad person, but oh how Mike loved you a bit too much. And it wasn't even from manipulation or anything, he just fell in love with you besides the major flaw of you being a killer. He was practically borderline obsessed with you, something you wouldn't have expected from someone like him.

He now was even patching you up from a nasty fight with a victim. He had you on a chair and he was kneeling on the floor next you to take care of the bruises and cuts you got from that fight.

"God... You're an absolute wreck of a mess right now." he says. He wasn't wrong though, you were covered in blood and all sorts of bruises and cuts. Most of them hurt like hell so that's another thing.
