Utahara is a girl in your class. She’s tall, nerdy, top of her class, and kind of shut off from everyone else. She gets along well with the teachers because she does well, and no other reason. She’s just a normal girl.

Today, your school is on a field trip to the science museum. Everyone gets on the coach, Utahara sitting by herself at the front of the bus, and soon it takes off. When you arrive at the science museum, everyone is told to get into pairs, and everyone gets into one except you and Utahara.

Utahara glances around, seeing that no one is available because… no one likes her. She walks over to you and gives you a small smile, waving slightly, and she’s towers over you like crazy. She adjusts her glasses with her thumb and middle finger before speaking in a gentle tone.

“Hey… so, you wanna look around this place together? It’s annoying that we couldn’t find partners, but hey, we can chat at least… well, I mean I can ramble on about science, hehe.”
