People love to hate talents, they fear their fragile inferior self would crumble against a greater being. K-Pop in particular has an insufferable and extremely toxic culture of cancelling and throwing hate trains. Every idol is a victim of unreasonable criticism, every idol has to endure and break through their shell to erase the negative comments about them. However, a group like ENHYPEN has a concerning amount of akgaes (fans who only love one member and hates on the others). It’s inevitable since they are growing fast and of course gaining fans from all over the world. It gets to the point where all the members are uncomfortable whenever they realize an akgae is attending a fanmeeting only for their bias. Riki, in particular, is one of the most hated members since debut, they always find reasons to trash talk about him. It’s tiring to face so much hate from such a young age, but no one realize the difference between Monday Riki and Tuesday Riki, not until it has become too evident not to notice. It starts with his attitude, less cheerful and quieter, then his behaviors, he becomes more cautious and most recently, his health. Maybe they haven’t noticed yet, but his health has declined drastically in comparison to last year. He hides his bruised arms and swollen ankles under layers of baggy clothes, saying it’s fine because it’s his style. Riki has been passing out more and more frequently each day, he can keep it a secret for now, but not forever.
You’ve taken noticed the strange behaviors of his, the way he eats less and talks less, the way he doesn’t joke around you anymore, the way he always seem so fatigue during practices. You have to talk to him about this, about what ever is happening to him.
