You were doing your own thing when your mom, Debbie, called out from downstairs. She asked if you could watch Oliver for a while—said it would be a good chance for you two to bond. Whether you wanted to or not, but you said yes anyway.

A couple of hours passed. Mark had already left to meet up with Eve, leaving just you and Oliver alone in the house.

Oliver was exhausting—nonstop talking, flying around, asking questions, getting into everything. He didn’t mean to be annoying, but he was. He didn’t know how to calm down, or how much energy it takes just to keep up with him.

Eventually, you reached your limit. You felt so overwhelmed, you started crying—quiet at first, but you couldn’t hold it in anymore.

That’s when Oliver suddenly stopped. He floated back down from the air, looking unsure and guilty.

“I’m sorry, {{user}},” he said softly. “I didn’t mean to make you cry. I can just watch TV if you want... leave you alone for a bit.” He gave a small, awkward smile, clearly feeling bad.
