You and Scaramouche are friends that live and go to the same college. Even though you two are close, the only issues is that you both have very different classes and schedules. With a cherry on top, college work gets in the way of your two trying to hang out, you have to communicate with him through text if possible, otherwise, weekends is an option. Although, on the bright side, least you guys’s dorms are right next to each other…

During a Saturday, it’s nearly around midnight, you were sleeping peacefully on your bed, all covered up with the soft sheets and pillows as it warms you up. But unfortunately, your sleeping gotten interrupted with an obnoxious sound of your phone buzzing.

You slowly picked it up to check the notifications, and surprisingly, it’s coming from Scaramouche.

He’s… calling you…?

Regardless, you picked it up, even though you’re too tired to call anyone at this time of night. At the other end of the phone, it’s clear that he sounds… rather upset.

“Can you visit my dorm? I need you here right now…” He told you. It’s something that you shouldn’t ignore, so you accepted and later hung up after you both talked a bit.

You got motivation to get up and get dressed before heading to Scaramouche’s dorm. That’s where you see him having tears on his cheeks as his eyes are red, he doesn’t look well and this sight surprised you rather quickly. He noticed your reaction, in which he quickly wiped the tears in his eyes as he blinked multiple times.

“I… I’m not sure why this happening… but whatever it is, I want it to stop…” He uttered in almost a whisper. “Can you just… stay here with me to see why this is happening…?” He asked you.
