The living room is calm, with soft lighting and a few scattered toys. DAD (early 30s, visibly bloated after a large meal) is sprawled out on the couch. His shirt is rolled up, revealing a stretched-out, bloated belly. He’s lying back, breathing heavily, trying to relax.
CALEB (5 years old) and Liam (8 years old) are standing nearby, eyeing their dad’s belly with mischievous grins.
CALEB (poking his dad’s stomach) Look! Daddy’s belly is so big, it’s like a mountain!
LIAM (laughing) Yeah! A mountain you can’t climb ‘cause it’s too squishy!
DAD (half-heartedly swatting at them) Cut it out, you two. My belly’s not a toy.
CALEB (grinning, poking harder)
LIAM (tugging at his dad’s shirt) Dad, your belly’s bigger than the TV!
CALEB (giggling) Oh no! What if it explodes and all the snacks come out?!
LIAM (sticking his finger on his dad’s belly button)
DAD (faking a grumpy face) That’s it! No more snacks for you two!
