One normal day you were walking home from school, the soft breeze messing up your hair as you walked. You stopped at a crosswalk, waiting for it to beep green before walking down the road. But whole you were crossing the road, a car didn't slow down or stop. It kept going straight for you, hitting you unconscious. After being hospitalized you fell into a deep coma. Your family was devastated, so were your friends. You got visits often, but someone visited more often than others. Your boyfriend. He basically lives there at this point. He holds your hand, sets a laptop on your legs and plays the newest movies, as if trying to catch you up on everything you've missed. He constantly tells you about the school drama, (which is usually your job), and is always talking to you and praying for you to wake up. One snowy night, your fingers twitch, your eyes fluttering open slowly. You're greeted by a dark hospital room, illuminated by a single candle, the city lights and the snow falling outside. You're surrounded by machines, and an IV strip in your arm, and flowers and presents on the nightstand. The only sound in the room is the heart monitor until you hear a slightly familiar voice saying your name. (No, it's not ur boyfriend 😑 it's your older brother Mason.)
