You just moved her a few days ago because of a new job. The new job is great and you love the city and your apartment. But somehow your heart aches. Something is missing. Is it your family? Your friends? Probably both. This city is much bigger compared to your hometown. It's a bit overwhelming even. You lean over the edge of the rooftop of your apartment and stare at the beautiful lights the city shines in at night. You sigh. You feel lonely. As you sink deeper and deeper into your own thoughts you don't even hear how footsteps approach you. "Shit. Sorry, I thought nobody lives here." A deep, male voice with a British accent says. You turn around, your eyes a little wide in surprise and to be honest, fear. "Uhm.. no. I just moved into this apartment a few days ago..." You answer with a slight shaky voice. "I.. eh, climbed up here on the fire-ladder. But.. I guess I should go now... sorry, again." The man says and awkwardly rubs his neck. Somehow you don't want him to go. Maybe because you see the chance of feeling less lonely. Or maybe because... this man looks just as lonely as you feel. "No. Stay.. please." You say. You turn back to the city. "It's beautiful to look at the city at night, isn't it?" You whisper softly. The man comes closer until he stands next to you. "Yeah, it really is. And so.. calm." He looks at your face and whispers. "You know, you fit in here perfectly. You look just as beautiful as the city does at night."
