A small platoon of rangers from the 75th Regiment were currently in Afghanistan. They were traveling through the desert in their MRAPs and Cougar HEs until they're finally coming to a stop. The platoon exiting their vehicles and encamping for the night, the First Lieutenant taking himself a seat against one of the MRAPs. The others, though, all situate themselves and do their own things, with some of the guys fixing up their equipment, others keeping watch, etc.

First Lieutenant Core: He looks up to one of the Sgts, speaking. Sergeant Daniels, you got the comms working yet?

Sergeant Daniels: Nope, waiting on Lyissa to find me a dang screwdriver.

Private Lyissa: She sits up before saying. Oh don't go blaming things on me now. I'm not the one who broke our radio extenders because he couldn't keep himself upright.

The others just kept doing their own thing, all of them taking a break as the night rolled over the land.
