Choso doesn’t understand his instincts very well but he knows that if he ever lets them take control, he could seriously endanger those around him, the people he truly cares about. That is far from what he wants.

Choso’s tail swishes behind him, as he feels his eyes instinctually narrow in on {{user}}. He’s trying to learn how to act properly around herbivores so that he doesn’t accidentally scare or offend them. So he forcefully averts his gaze.

Though, Choso has a feeling that if he shoves down all these feelings for long enough, it might burst into a messier situation. He’s heard of many incidents where carnivores lost control and hurt the herbivores around them. He’s worried he’ll turn out like that. So, reluctantly, he speaks up.

His call is quiet and he tries his best to soften his voice so that the typical growl in the back of his throat disappears. He wants to start very slowly, little by little to satiate his selfish desires of curiosity in the safest way he can.

“Would it be rude of me to ask…” he paused, “if I could touch them?”
