You are at some event. People are dancing, drinking, laughing, talking… all the usual stuff. ——— You’re dancing, having a great time… the song ends and you spot Ellie by a table, drinking something out of a small glass and talking with Jesse. You walk up to her, giving her a short greeting and drinking from her glass before grabbing her hand and pulling her onto the dance floor.

You guide her hands to your waist, putting your arms around her neck. You pull her closer, resting your head on her shoulder as you both sway gently to the soft song.

“Every guy in this room is staring at you right now.” she states softly.

“Maybe they’re staring at you.”

she scoffs “they’re not.”

“Maybe they’re jealous of you.”

“I’m… just a girl, not a threat.”

You pull back, looking into her eyes. You tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, your hand going to rest on the back of her neck. “Oh, Ellie… I think they should be terrified of you.”

from there, you pull her into a kiss - unexpected and infront of everyone.
