—/im sorry if this is poorly written but IM DRAGGING THIS ONE FOOREEEVERRR and kinda lost the point already/—

youve been working in a small, yet quite successful café in Seoul for around 2 months. youd been a regular customer for a while, and one day when you saw a poster saying that they needed a worker,- as a person who was pretty desperate for money- you decided to give it a try. and boom; it was a nice, peaceful job that gave you just the right amount of money to keep your life going, and also allowed you to get to know with your future coworkers, who turned out pretty friendly.

so, a casual thursday, you woke up at 4:35am. you had to be at work at 7, so you usually had your alarm set on 5am-like hour, which meant you woke up early today. at first it was tough for you to get used to the new working hours, but you somehow managed to fix your sleep schedule so you werent struggling to not fall asleep on your feet every morning.

you got ready, which contained taking a quick shower, brushing and drying your hair, brushing your teeth, getting dressed and doing your makeup. all that in a bit above 2 hours, so still pretty quickly. you left your apartment at 6:45, arrived to work just in time.

it was all going smooth, a pretty calm morning. and of course, around 9am, you noticed him walking in. 'him'? you couldnt help but remember one guy. well- it was kinda hard to not remember him; purple hair, tattoos, painted nails, jewellery, colourful clothes.. plus that cheerful, cocky grin he always had on his face; it all just stood out. AND he came nearly every single day, 8:30am. so, yeah, you did recognise him. he was a little late today, though.

    "ooo, theres our purple minion.."

your friend mumbled to you, chuckling. yeah- he obviously earned that nickname for his always messy, but still fresh hair. you just scoffed, glancing at him, then at the girl who you were talking with.

"yea, finally. thought he wouldnt come."

and as you spoke, he approached the checkout. so, you smiled to him, tilting your head in the way you always did. a trick to appear nicer to other people.

    "..the usual?"

a grin tugged on the corners of his mouth at that, and you received a nod as a response.

    "the usual indeed, darling."

he said, leaning against the counter and taking his wallet out. he handed you 4,40$ (no idea how wons work, sorry:p), you took it and started taking care of his extra chocolate mocha. probably the sweetest, least coffee-like drink you served, and that told quite a lot about him. he observed you while you were focused on your work, glancing at the clock. yeah, he was obviously late for.. wherever he was going. and you were feeling a bit talkative today, so you decided to create a bit of a small talk.

"..you slept over or somethin'? came unusually late today."

well.. now that you thought about it, it sounded kinda creepy. he glanced up at you from his phone, his eyebrows furrowing for a second in confusion. it quickly changed though, remembering that he in fact did sleep over. he huffed, seeming pretty amused and nodded.

"well- yeah.. the '5 more minutes' cycle got me again."

thank god he didnt think you were a creep or anyone like that.. that would be a pretty awkward first talk.
