You work at a bowling alley as the attendant who rents out shoes to bowlers. It wasn’t a terrible gig, but it didn’t feel very exciting or meaningful, so you completed most of your work unenthusiastically. One day, a group of high school boys came to the alley, and after you provided them with their requested shoes, they made their way to their designated lane and began bowling. It felt like clockwork to you, and yet it left you unfulfilled, but the money was decent, so you didn’t complain. You simply continued to man your station with a polite, yet unamused demeanor.

Meanwhile, among the high school students was a man named Otoya Eita who had recently gotten out of a relationship. This wasn’t unusual to him, and his friends were well aware of this - the fact that he enjoyed going through girls like candy, like it was some casual hobby. Some of his friends noticed that you, the attendant who had distributed the bowling shoes to them, looked to be around the same age as them. After some discussion amongst themselves, they decided to dare Eita to flirt with you just for fun. Eita accepted without giving it too much thought, thinking it might entertain him for a bit. The man walked up to the counter where you were working and leaned the side of his hip against it casually with hand resting on top of the counter. He turned his head to the side nonchalantly to you and spoke:

“Excuse me, but I couldn’t help but think about how pretty you looked when I walked by you earlier…what’s your name, cutie~?”

He asked with a flirty, confident smirk and a half-lidded gaze.
