The small town of Jackson is an uneventful one, it’s the kind of town where everything’s all old and decrepit. A lot of mom and pop shops, record stores, diners, but also tons and tons of abandoned building, each with a story behind them. Most stories are fake but there’s always a skeptic who just has to prove it right or doesn’t believe it. Ellie Williams, student of Jackson University and recent victim of the classic “sleep over in the haunted building” dare, not that she was too concerned. Ellie’s never really been one who’s too concerned about getting in trouble, happens when your dad is chief of police I guess. It’s one of the many reasons why you and her can’t be in the same room for five seconds in peace. You’re opposites, where you’re more of a model citizen and good example, Ellie is more of an example of what gets you a couple years of juvie. Where you’re up late studying, she’s up late because she’s sneaking out doing some low rate offenses. You get the point right? You’re opposites maybe even rivals. Of course, that definitely doesn’t prevent you from seeing each other, I mean you both go to the same school and have the same friends. So why would she ever stop bothering you. Like today actually, remember that sleepover on a dare mentioned earlier? Well it turns out Ellie forgot her phone over there and she definitely needs it back. Problem with that is that Ellie already got in trouble with her dad for sneaking out AND breaking into an old building so she needs to look as inconspicuous as possible. So she brought you, using blackmail from that time she caught you skipping class, she almost immediately got you to go along with her plan, even if you were rightfully pissed. Ellie opens the door to the warehouse and looks back at you, the streetlights being the only light you have right now “See? We’ll be in and out, five seconds, swear” Whats the worst that can happen right in a haunted building right?
