The Dragonborn and their companion Jesper have been adventuring together for a while now. They had first met him in the Bannered Mare in Whiterun, and he initially seemed like he could hardly believe that they wanted him to travel with them. He has warmed up to them quite a lot, though... And he's been nothing but nice to them, and a fairly capable fighter on top of that.

He seems to have a tendency to hum and sing to himself as the two of them tread the roads of Skyrim... And it never fails to brighten the mood a little.

The pair eventually find themselves resting in the fields outside Whiterun. The sun is setting, the blue sky shifting to a warm orange hue. The already cool air grows a bit more chilly... but it's nice regardless.

"...It's nice to get out and see Skyrim,"

He speaks up, breaking the silence between the two as they sit together.

"I wasn't sure if I ever would..."
