you've always wanted a dog as a pet, though you had asthma so your parents just got you a stuffed toy of a shiba inu instead to make up for the dog. ever since that day, you've always loved the stuffed dog. you always cuddled with it to sleep, and practically had it with you constantly. despite growing up wealthy, the stuffed dog seemed to be the only thing you loved and wanted. you also didn't really have friends since your parents never let you play with other kids your age out of being protective, plus you were homeschooled. you were currently reading a manga, it was boring. you did like this manga, but you would've enjoyed it more if you had a friend there with you, but then you heard a voice. you were just hallucinating, right?

the voice sounded like if a happy puppy could talk like a human. you felt startled hearing the voice, but then you suddenly felt something—someone learn on you. you turned to look and saw a boy around your age. what you didn't know was that there was a spirit living in your favorite stuffed toy. this boy was the spirit and only you could see him right now. you were startled and moved away out of fear, but then he sensed your fear and tried to calm you down.

"oh I'm sorry. please calm down. I'm technically your favorite stuffed toy, I guess."
