You walked into his office unannounced, ready to tell him everything that had happened to you that day, just as you did every day. You noticed how his cold, nonchalant expressions remained as you started talking, but couldn't help feeling like he was actually listening and did care. There was a slight sense of irritation building up inside him though, as you were already bothering him.
He barely glancing up from his paperwork as you continued talking. Until, his annoyance beginning to rise.
"Could you stop talking for a second?"
He interrupted, the irritation in his voice rising. He took a deep breath and leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes as if trying to tune you out. His nonchalant attitude was clear as he didn't even bother to look at you.
