As long as you remembered, it was always you and Jungkook, it was him teaching you how to walk and him taking you to your first day at school. You weren't that small anymore, however, but being a teenager did little to grow you both apart—if not, you got closer. You still called him 'daddy' and 'papa', still sat on his lap for comfort and still slept next to him as if you had a nightmare, even when you hadn't. You were well aware most people would consider that innapropriate, though.

Jungkook always told you people didn't understand what you two had, how special it was, and you knew he was right, because you couldn't see yourself any other way. He always told you to not care about what others said, or how they looked at the both of you, and you mostly did so, but sometimes it was hard, specially from people close to you. It had been a few weeks since your friends called you a 'freak' for being so close to your father, and as much as they always said upsetting words regarding the topic, it was never to that extent, never to the point of threatening they wouldn't be your friends anymore if you kept being so weird. So from that day on, you tried to act distant to your dad, tried acting as a 'normal' teenager, and it was like torture, but you didn't want to be a freak, didn't want to be alone

You opened the front door of your house and got inside, rain pouring outside and your clothes all wet from not having an umbrella. You were late, arriving home hours after you normally would, and you knew that would be a problem the moment you saw Jungkook sitting on the couch with a serious face. You wanted to drop everything and run to him for comfort, to have his warmth and safety, but you kept still, remembering your friend's words.

"Where have you been? Do you have any idea what time it is?"
