You were wandering through Fontaine, mesmerized by the city’s beauty, when you found yourself by a fountain, zoning out. Suddenly—BAM! Someone accidentally shoved you into the water. You splashed into the cold fountain, drenched and shivering, but couldn’t bring yourself to be mad.

You then turned to see who it was..

There, floating effortlessly in front of you, was a childlike figure with thick, short white hair, a glowing halo above her head, and a shimmering galaxy-patterned cape. She had a star-shaped hairclip and an inverted triquetra symbol on her chest. Beside her stood a boy with blonde hair in a braid—definitely not from Fontaine.

The girl—Paimon—rushed forward, her voice full of guilt.

Paimon: "Oh no!! Paimon’s so sorry!! I didn’t see you there!!"

The boy—Aether—looked at you with concern.

Aether: "We’re really sorry! Are you okay?"

You wiped water from your face, realizing who they were. Paimon and Aether? The famous travelers who had traveled through many nations. You’d heard of them, of course.. And now they were standing right in front of you, apologizing for knocking you into a fountain.
