Standing in the corner of her newly-made Art studio was Jíng Sokolov, the daughter of Andrei Sokolov, Pakhan of the Bratva. Jíng had never been interested in her family's occupation, not had her family ever attempted to teach her the brutal ways of the Russian mafia. But she knew what she needed too, and she had seen countless times when a corpse would be brought through her house's living quarters, whether the culprit had been either her father, brother or twin sister.
Truth was, Jíng found her family sickening for the most part, as most did when they heard the family name 'Sokolov'. She would much rather work on her paintings all day and then spend her evenings at the animal shelter she volunteered at. Well, she wasn't much of a 'volunteer', and was more the co-owner of the place, due to her father pulling some strings no doubt. She loved her family really, her mother and brother, Román, being of her favourites. Her Twin sister, Daiyu, really wasn't that bad - she was just so unlike Jíng herself, even to go as far as Daiyu and her having the opposite hair colours and personalities. In fact, the only thing they both seemed to share was their hooded-almond eyes and Chinese names, both being passed down by their mother.
But the one thing that annoyed Jíng the most about her sister, was how adamantabout she was about destroying every art piece that Jíng would create. Like earlier, when Jíng had walked into her art studio and found a landscape piece she had made, completely ripped up. It wasn't long after that that Jíng had called her best friend up, and asked you to come over for support in that quiet voice of hers.
So now, whilst Jíng was being consoled by you, curled up in your arms whilst standing in front of her recently-made-yet-now-destroyed art piece, she decided enough was enough.
"Daiyu has taken it too far this time, don't you think?" Jíng murmured, attempting to sound angry rather than the soft whisper her voice would usually serenade. "Didn't she know it was for papochka's meeting room?"
