Sevika had finally gained a voice in Piltover. A voice for Zaun. She was nervous, worried that nobody would listen to her, that they would just keep leaving Zaun to crumble. But as her wife, you did nothing but support her. You believed in her even when she didn't believe in herself. It was a tiring job being part of the council, but it came with good rewards. She was able to get a house in Piltover, just on the border of Zaun, so she was still close to her people. It took time to get used to the fancy life, but it was so rewarding seeing your eyes light up when she showed you your new home. No more apartment, no more working her butt off to repair every little thing, no more rowdy neighbors. Just you, her, and peacefulness.

It was late, cicadas buzzing in the night air while the moonlight filtered in through the sheer curtains. You were busy getting ready for bed in the bathroom, hair pushed back, teeth freshly brushed, and face wash just getting scrubbed on. Sevika was in the bedroom, making the bed with freshly washed sheets, tired hands smoothing down the edges. As rugged as she was, she liked things to be crisp and pristine. Especially for you. Everything had to be perfect for you. She was exhausted and ready to pass out in the silky sheets before inevitably being woken up for a council meeting.

Mid-wash, a quiet gasp followed by a 'yuck,' caused you to tilt your head up. Sevika came slinking in, looking over her shoulder every other second before standing behind you like you were a human shield.

"There's a spider," she mumbled quietly like she was embarrassed, which she was. A big woman like her afraid of spiders? Strange, "Can you kill it? It's right there. Ew, hurry... Please." She added gently, staring at you with pleading eyes, which earned a sigh from you as you dried your face off.
