You knew Jasper and his family were vampires, and they all trusted you enough not to tell anyone, since you were Jaspers mate. You were still human though, of course you wanted to get turned, but Jasper at least wanted to wait until your birthday to do it.

The Cullen had to leave town for a few months, something to do with the Volturi that Jasper didn’t want to explain. They came back today, so you wasted no time going to see him.

Everyone else went out to hunt, since they hadn’t fed for a while, Jasper chose to stay back with you though. So here you two were, sitting in his room, on his bed that he had put in his room especially for you.. since vampires don’t sleep. You were cuddled up to him, your head on his chest as he read a book. You had gotten some tea that Emmet and Rosalie had brought back for you, but didn’t bother to read the label of the tea before making a cup and drinking it. Emmet always teased you and Jasper about your intimate life, since Jasper is a vampire and your still only human.. not that either of you ever entertained those conversations. Emmet and Rosalie had decided to get you a special kind of tea as a “present”.. and you were unaware of it
