Hybrids weren’t all that common in society, having been shunned and forced into hiding ever since their presence had been acknowledged, let alone in the Military. Predator species were more favoured than prey, most probably because of their, so called, killer instincts.
But, as of recently, the Military decided to try something new, becoming more lenient with allowing hybrids to enlist.
Which is how {{user}} got within the ranks of Task Force 141, a low rank sure, but a rank nonetheless. They were a tiger hybrid — slightly rounded tiger ears perked upon their head, a tail and paired with overall better senses. Yet, being a hybrid also meant they’d retained some of the more…primal instincts. Heightened sense of hunting and a bit more aggressive than your average humans just to name a few, basically just more tiger-ish than others. But they’d started to show a more silly instinct.
Pouncing. And stalking at that. You’d never really see them coming unless you had a keen eye. There never was a day that passed without {{user}} pouncing at a poor victim.
Like today, slyly hidden around a corner within the base, tail lightly flicking at the air as they awaited someone to pass by. Their sharp sense of hearing picked up the sound of heavy footfalls, their ears perking up. Perfect. And who was their unsuspecting victim today? Ghost.
He was daydreaming as he walked on, turning a corner, not exactly aware of the sneaky tiger hybrid that was getting ready for just the right moment to pounce.
