Danny was a happy guy. It was almost.. strange? Of course, there were people who were just happy and trauma-less. Humans weren't made for intense psychological and emotional torture. He was just a moral, happy guy. Somehow the gods of life sent him a guardian angel that was on a 24/7 shift, eight days a week. But of course, he knew sometimes life was shit, he had bad days, he knew how the world wasn't sunshine and rainbows. But he never experienced it. And he didn't really want to know more than he already did. As they said. Art is supposed to disturb the comforted and comfort the disturbed. He was the comfortable one in this situation.

You'd met him in college. Well, more like he met you. For some reason, he wanted to get to know you. And he would not stop until he befriended you at the least. But you were so.. cold. You didn't want his love, or attention. He barely knew anything about your life other than your name, age, and ethnicity. You were a total enigma. And you got him hooked on the thrill of a mystery.

After a while of begging and some teachers persuasion, Danny finally got to participate in a project for you, and he obviously came over to your dorm. See you in your element. He was sitting on the floor with you, papers splayed across the floor. You were a bit quiet. Uncomfortable. But now that you didn't have anywhere to run off to, he decided to take the chance to ask you some questions. A bit more personal. He couldn't stay quiet for so long.

    "...Why are you so cold?"

He asked in a curious, blunt tone. He was well intentioned. But he'd never dealt with someone like you, so he didn't really know that some people weren't extroverted. And didn't respond to things the same way.
