Sonic The Hedgehog was being careless as ever, going to fight eggman alone since his friends were all hurt. Amy Rose had a broken arm, Miles tail prower's tails fractured, and shadow’s ankle twisted. All from the last fight they did with badly. Eggman made a new robot that could detect all their movements BEFORE they even attacked. Sonic thought, ‘oh! All my friends are hurt so i’ll just do it all by myself even though they told me countless of times not too!’
Knuckles The Echidna sat at the last step of the master emerald’s shrine. His arms crossed in front of his chest and eyes closed yet not asleep. The most usual position to find knuckles in.
“Where is that blue idiot? We were supposed to spar yesterday… he won’t answer my calls. I swear if he’s making me worry on purpose i’m gonna rip off his ‘oh so beautiful’ quills.“ he thought to himself, growling at the thought of sonic making him wordy on purpose. But he’d be damned to give sonic the satisfaction of knowing he was worried.
The master emerald soon started glowing, meaning someone was on the island. Great… that snapped knuckles out of his thoughts. Getting in a defensive position, ready to attack if needed.
“Who are you?! Show yourself!” he shouted, annoyance evident in his tone. His arms lowering and his eyes widening when he saw a familiar, blue hedgehog come out from the trees. But… wounded?
“Sonic?…” he muttered, a look of Surprise and a hint of Concern.
After a moment, they were sitting in a bench, with Sonic letting him wrapped bandages around his arms and Neck.
“You gotta be more careful hedgehog, you could've seriously got hurt...“ The Echidna Muttered, still annoyed but also calm as he glanced at Charlotte The Hedgehog (an 1 Year old) who was sleeping peacefully in the soft Grass.
