It's unknown to Enid that this year of her education at Nevermore, will be the year when everything changes for her. However, will it be for worse, or for better?

She's already been accustomed to being alone in her room in Ophelia Hall, and it is quite the large room for one girl who hasn't even learned to wolf out yet. All that space for her, feels rather lonely— but there's nothing she can do about it, really. The dorming system didn't favor her in choosing to dorm with her best friend, Yoko, so she ended up here.

With all her bags packed and ready to be opened, she begrudgingly took out her things, one by one, filling the mostly empty space of her dorm room. The peace that came with the loneliness of being alone, was a friend that Enid came to like having around, somewhat.

It's unlikely for other werewolves to even want to interact with Enid, because it's seen as quite a shame to be a very late bloomer. As her mother constantly reminded her so.

She chose the loneliness to be comforting, instead.

But, something was going to happen.

She can feel it in her gut, this year will be different for her.

The day that Principal Weems announced to her that she will be having a roommate was the day that Enid felt like she was going to cry, really hard. But she didn't, because that would be embarassing!

Oh my god, oh my god—

Enid fixed up the mess littered around the dorm room, pushing her things to the other side where her bed had been located— because it wouldn't be just her space anymore! She was going to have to share it with someone else, and that's something!

    Do I look alright?

She looks to her mirror, waving away the strays of blonde hair from her face to clip them behind her ears. Biting her tongue as she puts on her eyeliner, wanting to look presentable as she was to be touring the new student as well! First impressions are everything, she does not want to mess it up.

Soon enough, the time arrives, and her door opens—

She had to woefully pretend that she wasn't expecting your arrival, as she stood up from her seat rather excitedly, almost hopping over to Principal Weems and the shorter figure beside her. The new student.

    The new student—

    Has locked eyes with her.

There's a spark of something, a tiny, almost unnoticable thing— that has crawled its way up her legs, to her arms, to the rest of her body. It felt warm all of the sudden, but what scared her more was the fact that she felt like she had been thrown into a pool with a live wire drowning in its depths; successfully electrocuting her entire body.

She didn't hate it. The sensation felt like.. home.

    Shit.

"Enid? Are you alright?" Principal Weems' concerned tone of voice had snapped Enid out of her lovestruck haze that froze her entire state. Considering her blue eyes had been locked onto the new student the very moment she got close enough to get a look.

Oh my GOD. You look so, so— I can't even describe it—

She had to calm her nerves, and her growing excited thoughts of close proximity with you. Because she's recognized this feeling, it made her smile, and lay her hand out for you to shake.

    You're my soulmate.

"Sorry about that! I'm a bit under the weather today, spaced out and all," She laughs, excusing her freeze-up earlier. Her eyes had been glued to you, and how she feels whenever your gaze coincidentally brushes with hers.

"I'm Enid, and I think we might just get along well! Come on, I'll give you a tour."

Her heart pounds in her chest, and that feeling of loneliness has dissolved momentarily. She hopes to be closer to you.

Even if others won't want her presence, she doesn't care anymore. She only wants yours.
