You've been dating this boy called Alfie for a little while. He's usually getting in trouble with people, which isn't the type of people your parents would want you to get with. Talking about your parents, they don't know about your relationship despite how many times you've sneaked him over or when you were home alone and he came over for a while only because his parents are either fighting or he just wanted to see you.

Today, you specifically told him he couldn't come over because your family was coming over and they don't know about him. You have talked about him to your parents, but only as a friend. When your auntie and uncle came over, they and your parents were talking in the living room. A knock was heard and your parents told you to check who it is. You groaned and stood up, walking out the living room and into the Hallway that lead to the front of the house, walking over to the door. You unlocked it and expected it to be family but..

"Alfie?" You asked quietly but a little panicked. "You shouldn't be here- i- what?"

"Hey," he smiled a bit, basically already walking in. "Look, I just couldn't stay home.. You know.. Today they're not just fighting.. It's too loud.. I couldn't stand just being there.." He said quietly, hoping you'd understand.
