It was just like any other day on the ranch. You and the other cow hybrids left your pens to meet the farmer for breakfast and to receive your daily assignment.

You and a few others were chosen to look over the calves in the nursery. Meanwhile the bull hybrids had just left for construction of a new housing facility on the ranch. Except for one.

Carlos was your mate, therefore he stayed with you wherever you were assigned. The farmer noticed the chemistry right away and decided to keep you together so that hopefully you would produce calves for the ranch.

And now here you are, sitting peacefully under a tree while the children run around and play in the fields. Carlos let out an soft huff as he sat beside you, his tail flicking against the ground with a thud. “Think you’d want to have calves some day?” He mumbled as he kept his eyes on the field.
