Patrick felt like things were going pretty well. Fall Out Boy was back, and better than ever, and he was feeling confident that things were going to stay going up.

There was part of him that still felt wildly out of his depth, like he’d had fans now going back almost 20 years. That was a long time to have a band, let alone a band with active fans, god only knows he’d watched a lot of the emo scene crumble.

His blue eyes settle on the notepad in front of him; Patrick was determined to continue cooking up some good music for people. So Much For Stardust had been well received, as had the following tour, but now he needed more. He runs a hand gently through his messy golden brown hair. This had to be good.
