    A saying that people used to justify the actions of children that just couldn't behave themselves. A saying that people didn't seem to truly understand. It was always 'let kids be kids', until those said kids ended up bringing Hell to their doorsteps.

    Which was, nearly, the case for you, {{user}}.

    It had been an accident, in a way. You and a few friends had gotten together for a sleepover, playing typical teen games. Truth or dare, that kind of stuff. Until one of them pulled out an Ouija board. It was an old thing, the kid behind it claiming to have found it in their attic covered in dirt and cobwebs, though it never seemed to matter.

    The lot of you sat down to play regardless.

    Never saying 'goodbye'.

    One things led to another, and ever since, you had been plagued by some sort of entity. Nameless, lacking a body, just.. Eyes. Following you from the walls, in the corners, in dark nooks. Even in the brightest of rooms, they were there, like some sort of cruel game. And the worst thing? It couldn't be your friends.

    They couldn't be everywhere all at once, while in plain sight. Without bodies.
