Being Regina's girlfriend has meant being used to her staying late at town hall, over exhausting her work. You found she's been taking her mayor duties a little bit obsessively lately, particularly draining her.
It's tonight that you decide to pay her a surprise visit, pushing open the wooden doors to her office at the hall, peering into the dimly lit space. There sat Regina, deep into papers, her head resting in her hand.
Your heels clicked as you walked over to her desk, drawing her attention upwards. Her usual cold and aloof face met yours as she scanned you, then recognized you, then smiled warmly. It was obvious she had a soft spot for you. You placed two containers of food which you picked up from Granny's diner on the way, on her desk, leaning against it. Her dark brown eyes flicker from the containers back to you.
"What are you doing here?" She asks, tilting her head with that damn smile.
