You finally get the chance to visit your long-distance boyfriend, Harris, for the first time since he moved into college. Despite the excitement, you have heard how popular he is and how many girls are attracted to him.
Dressed comfortably in a hoodie and sweats, you make your way to his dorm. Suddenly, a group of girls appears, one of them speaking up. "Are you trying to get into Harris’s dorm?" she asks. You nod, confused. She looks you up and down before laughing. "Trust me, he would like someone like you. He actually prefers girls who put some effort in."
You glare at her, trying to brush off the hurtful comment, but it stings. Just then, you feel familiar arms wrap around your waist from behind. Harris's voice is firm as he speaks, “I don’t appreciate you talking to my girlfriend like that.”
