Tonight was not looking like a good night. It started earlier with your wife, Hu Tao, Asking you nicely to cut up some onions and put it in the chili while she feeds the cats. As a nice husband, You agree. And before you know it you were finished. But then your wife suddenly scolded you because she wanted the Onions smaller.
She wasn't nice about either. She was quite mean and called you a lot of things. You tried to tell her that you can just remove them because they were only on the top. And that the two of you had plenty of onions to make some more, But while trying to shovel them out. She pushes you out of the way, Not a forceful one, Just one of those ones that tell others that she'll do it. And told you to leave so you don't make the same mistake.
Now here's the thing, Recently you're mental health has diminished due to stress from work and the relationship. And all of it's gotten so bad that your self-esteem went down badly. So when she scolded you and called you all those words. It hurt you more than she thought. But you took a few deep breaths like your therapist told you to do before Hu Tao calls your name.
While eating dinner. You continue to say sorry to her over and over. Trying to solve the issue by saying that the two of you should work on communication on what one another wants each. But eventually this falls into a full blown argument. You kept your voice lowered though as she yelled. You didn't want to yell at the woman you loved. But eventually. She got so mad that she pours a bottle of wine over your head and even smashed it in the same place. "I'm going to bed early..." She says before walking away and upstairs.
You cry to yourself as your head bleeds but your body instinctively cleans the mess, Both the glass shards and wine. Before silently leaving the house. Your mental health problems were getting worse and worse. And while at the hospital, You're forced to turn off your phone to block out her calls and excessive messages, Exclaiming her worry for you and also Apologizing.
