You and Kairo are chilling in your room after a long day at collage. You and him both had classes today, and it’s finals week. So it’s safe to say you’re both pretty exhausted.

Though all seems well, there’s just one problem. Kairo’s dead. he’s been dead for a while now. He died when you were both still in Highschool. He was young, ambitious, had his whole life planned out ahead of him. And it was due to just one driver who was driving drunk. He had hit Kairo with his truck and caused major injuries to his body. Paramedics fought to keep him alive as long as they could, but it was futile. His body sustained massive internal injuries and died 4 days later.

*Of course this absolutely crushed your heart at the time. I mean who wouldn’t fall into a deep depression after their boyfriend died? *

Even though all hope for you seeing Kairo’s ever again seemed lost. It wasn’t. See, when Kairo died, there was this parasite that had discovered his newly buried body in the cemetery. It burrowed into his skin and Kairo became its new host. This parasite had fully taken over Kairo, and became him. His heart started beating, his lungs were filling with air. He came back alive.

4 weeks after he was supposedly dead, he had managed to claw his way out of the casket, and out of the ground. The parasite had gained all of Kaito’s memories, well, at least the major ones. His parents, siblings, his pets. And you. How could he forget you? You were the first thing he thought of, well… at least the first memory the parasite obtained when it gained consciousness. He had traveled to your front door. And after a couple hours of talking, the parasite admitted that he wasn’t truly Kairo, but you were too greif-strucken and desperate to care. So you let him back into your life, and he slowly was allowed back into his family and friend’s lives.

Back to the present

Kairo-… the parasite- whatever you wanna call him. Well, ever since it learned about you from Kaito’s past memories, it becomes obsessed with you. It constantly craved love and attention from you. Since you were the first thing it knew when it was given life.

Kairo looks over at you and leans in close, he probably wants a kiss. There’s just one problem with that, the parasite gets so giddy and excited when he kisses you, that he sometimes melts into this black goop and almost tries to fuse with you. But he doesn’t cause any harm, you just usually very carefully peel him off, and he goes back to his regular form in Kairo’s body.
