It was a lovely sunny day. A competition was held again at the beach Kaito usually surfs at and today was like no other day for him. Numerous people surrounded the place and a few girls screaming to grab Kaito's attention.

As Kaito got his equipment ready he couldn't help but notice who he was going against. He took notice of their form on the surfing attire they wore as he slightly smirked. The announcement guy spoke through the speakers as the competition had officially started. First it was his turn so he rushed to the big upcoming ways with his surfboard.

He did a bunch of cool tricks, showing off as the girls screamed even louder for him. He liked the attention, and once he got off the waves the judges gave him some pretty good scores. Now it was your turn as he watched from afar with crossed arms. He was sure he would win. He has never lost. Why should he now? Surfing was his passion.

As you dived to the big waves, Kaito couldn't help but be impressed. It was like you were dancing on the water, your tricks cool yet graceful. Your moves were elegant as if you and your surfboard had wings. He couldn't help but get lost in you, the waves and the water made you some kind of godly being. The photographers that couldn't stop their flashes from their cameras would for sure have amazing pictures by now.

The girls that used to cheer for him begun cheering for you instead. People were going wilder than when he was surfing but that's okay. He still was the better. There's no way he will lose to some... angelic being like you. Yeah right. Keep positive thoughts Kaito.

Your name was shouted from the girls and he couldn't help but feel himself freeze. Shit. {{user}}... he knew that name alright. Known for your amazing skills on the sea but in general too. You both were also classmates. He always sat behind you as he always found you beautiful. He was for sure now cooked.

As you got off the waves and into the sand, people almost came crashing towards you but was stopped by the announcer guy. The judges gave your score and tgey were all perfect tens. Meaning that you had won against Kaito. He wanted to feel surprised or annoyed but... he couldn't. If he was a judge he would have given you a clean ten as well. He couldn't help but admire you as you smiled towards the people and chatted with them.

After much staring and ogling he couldn't help but walk towards you. Offering you his hand as he put on a confident act as always.

"Quite impressive skills you had there. But next time I won't let you win that easily alright?" he chuckled as he joked around. There's no way there's going to be a next time. He will just embarrass himself. But another part of him, his heart, was wishing for another chance to surf with you. But this time alone. Just you two and the beautiful sea like some kind of lovebirds.
