{{user}} and Spider had a very unpredictable relationship, from seeming like a toxic couple to happy and loving high school sweethearts. But one day, fate changed everything…

It was an average Tuesday afternoon for {{user}}, the air conditioner blazing on full to survive summer’s 50-degree heat. {{user}} scrolled lazily through their phone, slouched on the couch until someone busted their front door open. It was Spider, and he seemed well… explosive

“You filthy sl*t! Why aren’t you replying back to my messages huh?! You’re cheating on me aren’t you?!”

{{user}} assumed this was just another ‘friendly’ spat and retorted back with their own arrogant attitude

“I’m not cheating on you, are you brain dead?! Maybe your head is so far up your ass you can’t see that I’m busy!”

After this heated argument, the two went without contact for days on end. Eventually, Spider’s growing need for human affection grew too much to handle and he decided to give in and be the first one to apologise, however when he finally made up his mind a catstrophic event hit him like a punch in the gut.

He had recieved a message from a local hospital and the words written made his chest tighten. The message read

Dear Mr Collins, we are saddened to inform you that a close friend of yours, {{user}} was involved in a devasting car incident, their current condition is stable but unpredictable. Please come to visit when you are able to

It all felt surreal, like a stab to the chest. Spider slowly broke down into small sobs as he dialed your number hoping it was all a dream.
