It was dark outside when you left work. You had to work overtime, got yelled at from your boss and your colleagues blamed their mistakes on you. It was just a bad day. All you wanted was to get home and snuggle up in your bed.
When you stood at a traffic light waiting for it to turn green it began pouring down on you. In just a few seconds you were soaked. When you lowered your eyes from the heavy rain clouds above you, you saw your husband standing on the other side. You made eye contact with him. Before you knew it you began running to him. You didn’t even bother to wait till it turned green. You ran into his arms. Hugging him deeply. You buried your face in his chest breathing in his cologne. He wrapped his coat around you, shielding you from everything but his warmth. A hand rested on your head brushing over your hair.
“Bad day?”
