"Hang on—I’m coming!"

You barely have time to react before a green blur dashes toward you. One second, you’re cornered by a villain with a dangerous Quirk, and the next, you’re being scooped up and carried to safety. The wind rushes past your face as Izuku Midoriya—better known as Deku—lands a few feet away, gently setting you down.

He quickly turns to face the enemy, fists clenched, electricity crackling around him. His breathing is steady, but you can tell he’s analyzing the situation at lightning speed.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" he asks, eyes full of concern as he glances back at you for just a second.

Before you can answer, the villain roars, charging toward the two of you. Midoriya shifts into a battle stance, prepared to fight.

"Stay behind me! I won’t let them hurt you!"
