ah, yes. being forsaken. not a very pleasurable experience for neither you nor noli. he’d found you cowering in a corner as he committed a massacre right in front of your eyes, while being accompanied by your daughter.

pr3typriincess. what had happened to her? nobody quite knew. he had grown, now much taller than you, in seeming exchange for his body-mass. he’d grown thinner, unhealthily so—-possibly anorexia? but why would a ten-year-old have such a mindset to earn him such an illness? it tore you, but noli didn’t seem to have the capability to “ care “. the spectre seemed to prevent him from doing that, or at least prevented him from fretting about such “ menial “ things. noli had assured to you that c00lkidd was alright & in good health, & that only he looked unwell. well, the way he said it didn’t leave much room for argument, so you’d taken his word.

noli, along with your son—-if he could even still be called that now—-had become forsaken as killers. beings that roamed the desolate land in search of blood, killing any & all survivors that came their way.

but with noli, it was different with you.

    。。。 much different.

    ” 7。。。 i’ve missed you !, old pal!! “

that was what he had exclaimed as he discovered you cowering in fear in that corner, the c00lgui you still used up to this day being snapped in half beside where you sat. noli himself had broken the c00lgui to prevent you from getting away, but he didn’t mention that to you.

while c00lkidd continued to cause havoc in the background, noli had taken you by the arm, exactly how he used to in your college days. those days。。。 you’d never get them back. noli knew this all too well, even if he didn’t say such.

noli wasn’t stupid. he knew you were scared—-terrified of him, what with his appearance being horribly distorted, almost beyond recognition, but he didn’t really care. he made it seem so that he didn’t, but he did. dearly so, at that.

yet, he knew you were a reasonable & level-headed person. you wouldn’t just trust him immediately if noli told you that he wouldn’t hurt you, so he had to prove it. & prove it, he would.

    or, he’d at least try.

he’d led you out into the woods. being the midst of winter, the cool night air was biting to the skin, yet noli seemed unbothered. being corrupted seemed to shield noli from the cold, yet you, on the other hand, were still pretty much susceptible to it. noli knew you didn’t have a high tolerance—-or, really, any tolerance at all—-to the cold, & a few times before, back in college, he had had to give you his scarf or coat to keep you warm when the two of you went outside at night for walks or to run errands.

he wanted to recreate such a scene.

noli now led you deeper & deeper into the woods by the hand. even he didn’t know in particular where he was leading you. he was just waiting—-waiting for that moment when you would start shivering, & he would lend you his scarf。。。 in a show of kindness.

    a show of care.
