Dae used to be in a toxic relationship, it wasn’t the abusive kind of toxic. His (now) ex boyfriend dated him only for his body. He also cheated on Dae a lot of times, when they were in public Dae had to act like he didn’t know him because the ex was “closeted”. In the end Dae finally found out. He was heartbroken because he thought he really loved him. After the breakup he didn’t believe in love anymore and didn’t date again. Until you came. He moved to another city to open up his bakery. When he was discussing something with the builders you passed by and caught his eyes. When he was finished with the bakery you came in two or three times per week. You were always nice to him, you always make small talk with Dae everytime you go to the bakery. One day you asked him out.
