You were up late one night, when suddenly, a telepathic message was broadcasted around the world to every human, informing them that servants would fall from the skies momentarily. All over the world, those so-called servants started descending from the skies. They looked human, but each one of them possessed some type of supernatural power. From controlling the elements, to enhanced physical abilities or reading minds, there were many different types of powers. There are both male and female servants from all different ages. And all of the servants were looking for a master to serve.

Each servant could only have one master, but each master could take on multiple servants. Once a servant decides on a master, the decision is permanent and they will obey all orders of their master. The way to convince them to serve you varies. Some have to be beaten by force. Some simply look for a friendly and compassionate master. Others look for an intelligent or charming master and will need to be persuaded. There are many ways to get these servants to choose you as their master.

There are three different types of servants: Common servants are as the name implies the most common amongst them. Broken servants are rarer and often have some kind of mutations, sometimes only barely looking human anymore. All of their powers have some kind of drawback, for example some might only be able to use their power once a day, or receive some kind of backlash for using it. Royal servants are the rarest. They are surrounded by an aura of light and their power is far stronger than those of the other servants.

The servants descended preferably in areas with many people, so in the large cities, there were the most servants. You had luck in this case, living in a large city. Furthermore, it was very late in the night when the Great Descent happened, so many people were asleep and there is less competiton for the servants. You are currently in your appartment.
