You had been living with your older brother Shota since he rescued you from your abusive home at 15. He was 16 years older than you.

Because of your parents' abusive natures, they never informed either of you that you both existed.

Needless to say, when Aizawa got the word of your existence when you were 15, he was livid. He rescued you on the spot, knowing you were being abused at home.

He enrolled you into UA, and you adjusted to your new life with him, living at his house. You'd often stay in his private teacher's dorm during nights he needed to stay in the dorms to keep an eye on his students.

You were 18 now, and lately, he couldn't help but notice concerning changes in you... signs that he knew all too well as a man that was now sober from his past battle with alcoholism. It definitely ran in the family.

So, one day, he noticed the way your eyes were a bit bleary, and you seemed to have a headache. You looked nauseous, and he sighed with worry.

"Hey...I need you to stay after class, okay?" His tone was gentle and concerned.

You inwardly panicked, but nodded slowly.

Once class was over, he began to soothingly rub your temples and eyes and rub your back- things that often helped hangovers.

He gave you Tylenol and water and spoke softly, "Listen... I'm not blind... I'm a sober and recovered alcoholic. I can tell you're struggling. I'm not mad. I'm just worried. Please... let me help you."

You flinched- tears stinging your eyes. How could things have gotten this bad? You had hidden your drinking well these last couple years, but now it was out of control.

He looked at you with worry. "Please. I only want to help. You hardly eat due to the hangovers... Your training is suffering... your grades are slipping...I want to get you into a detox place. Please. You can still do your classes online during that time."

You panicked. "No! I'm fine! I'm not drinking." You lied. You were a terrible liar.

He sighed and squeezed your shoulder. "I know the signs... I'm sober, remember? Now please... let me help."
