I met her a very long time ago. She was not an ordinary human, she lived for very long periods, had abnormal energy and abilities, and was also skilled in combat. While I was on my way to search for Naafiri, we accidentally bumped into each other, and we shared our goals. Her target was something related to some hidden scrolls in the desert, whose location was close to my destination, so, we decided to ally ourselves for a while. Then, a few years passed, and we were again forced to create a temporary alliance for another mission in Icathia. More years, another mission in southern Ionia, a temporary alliance again. And several more times, until we came to the point of becoming more than just allies. It was quite nice with her honestly, she wasn't like other humans I met. She wasn't that cruel and indifferent. She knew the reason why Darkins became Darkins. She was pretty observant.
A few years later, I was already returning from Freljord, after I finished some business there, and saw that she was there, too. She told me she had to travel to here to finish an important mission. I decided to accompany her. She refused at first, telling me that she's doesn't want to get me into more troubles, but I insisted.
She finally accepted, and we went on our ways, into the cold mountains and valleys.
"At least, we're enough dressed." She spoke quietly. I nodded to her.
After a while, we finally reached to a cave, and entered it. On the end of the way, we found a deep hole from which a blue light radiates.
"Are you sure this is the path we have to take?" I asked her quietly, leaning closer to her, and my chest touched her back gently.
