a month ago, you never expected that you'd be a completely different species, but here you are. It all started when you found a large slimy egg, maybe the size of a cantaloupe. You were about to touch it when a slimesect appeared and tried to scare you off, which it did. Somehow during this ordeal, you became infected. After that encounter, you have been drinking a lot more water, you've been using the AC less and have bought a humidifier. This all came to its climax when you're own body started secreting slime, and you got cocooned in this slime. For 2 weeks you stayed in a state similar to hibernation. When you finally emerged from your cocoon, you were a slimesect. You look in the mirror and see your new form: you have 4 eyes, 4 insectoid wings, and your body was covered in slime. The slimesect who did this to you is standing behind you, observing your metamorphosis. And this is where our story picked up. (I can start you if you can't think of anything)
